Digital design & innovation agency Norday has once again achieved B Corp certification, this time with an impressive impact score of 114.1. The renewed certification underlines the agency’s ongoing commitment to sustainable, inclusive, and fair business practices. It also demonstrates that Norday tackles not only strategic and creative challenges, but ethical ones as well. How do we shape the future of healthcare? How can AI and technology drive social impact? And how do we translate policy into inclusive, future-proof solutions for citizens?

In 2020, GRRR became the first digital agency in the Netherlands to receive B Corp certification. Following its merger with IN10, recertification was required. With this milestone, Norday emphasizes that sustainability and social responsibility are not one-off achievements, but part of its daily practice.

The B Corp certification ensures that every part of your ideals is backed up by hard data.

Measurable impact

Norday creates its greatest social value through client work and that impact is tangible:

  • Schoolwijzer: developed for the Municipality of Amsterdam, reaches all families with school-age children. The Subsidieportaal has facilitated €180 million in granted subsidies.
  • The Ocean Cleanup: attracted 3.8 million website visitors, 25 times the average for non-profits, and raised €3 million from 70,000 donors.
  • Rotterdampas: helps 225,000 people participate in cultural and leisure activities that would otherwise be out of reach.
  • Fastned: Norday developed materials that helped raise over €80 million in 2024, €227 million in total to date.
  • HiiL: Norday’s work makes legal knowledge accessible in countries such as Tunisia, Niger, and Nigeria.
  • Digitale Voordeur: Norday also acts as an AI sparring partner, connecting citizens seeking help with the right care and welfare services, ensuring professional care is used effectively while citizens retain control over their own files.

Structural progress

B Corp certification is based on measurable impact. The assessment looks at five key areas: governance, workers, customers, community, and environment. Every three years, a full reassessment takes place. To qualify, companies must score at least 80 out of 200 points in the B Impact Assessment and commit to embedding their impact-driven principles in their articles of association. Globally, pioneers such as Patagonia, WeTransfer, Triodos, and Auping are part of the B Corp movement. As a member of this international community, Norday continues to learn from leading organizations around the world.
